From idea to production-ready PCB

Good hardware is more than schematics. Layout quality, EMC-aware design, thermal considerations and clean documentation for manufacturing and service are essential. I support the full journey, including bring-up, measurements and iterations.

Focus: RF development

A special focus is RF and high-frequency work, where layout, antenna matching and EMC details decide range and robustness. I support new RF hardware as well as analysis and improvement of existing designs.

  • RF-ready PCB layout (impedance control, transitions, shielding, return paths)
  • Antenna matching networks (with measurement/optimization loops)
  • RF module/transceiver integration (e.g., sub-GHz / 2.4 GHz)
  • Protection and filtering concepts (ESD/surge, EMI filters, power topology)
  • Preparation for EMC/RED testing (pre-compliance, design for compliance)

Quality focus: EMC, DFM & DFT

Typical production requirements are considered early: EMC-robust grounding, filtering and protection, test points (DFT), component availability, and manufacturable layout (DFM). This reduces surprises in prototyping and production.
